Pastor Greg Ciesluk (pronounced Chess-luck) has been with us at Motley UMC since 2008. He grew up in Chelmsford, MA and graduated from high school there. He is also a graduate of UMASS, Amherst and Duke University Divinity School. While he is clearly a New Englander by upbringing, he is a Minnesotan by marriage. His wife Dianne of 24 years is a native Minnesotan and they have lived here for the last 19 years. He and Dianne have three children who at various stages of launching into adulthood.
Greg never met a stranger and loves to connect with people, hear their stories, and find out what makes them tick. He loves to sing and always seems to have a song in is heart. He is a life-long learner and loves to read books, think about stuff, and develop new ideas. He is also passionate about mathematics and is an occasional guest “teacher of the day” in math classes at the local middle school and eats in the lunch room with students a few times a month. He just took up piano lessons again after 35 years. Greg enjoys bike riding and is a serious Boston Red Sox fan.
